Some discussion is needed first, in particular new event are required.

The analysis of the semantics of +RTS -s and the list of needed new events is performed at RTSsummaryEvents.

I mean at http://trac.haskell.org/ThreadScope/wiki/RTSsummaryEvents (could we have wiki links from ticket descriptions? could we edit our own tickets?).
