Description

I included 2 patches in the attachment.

submission_20120929_ghc-7.4.1.patch applies to tag ghc_7.4.1-release submission_20120929_ghc-7.4.2.patch applies to tag ghc_7.4.2-release

For some reasons I have haddock 2.10.0 together with ghc 7.4.2 on my system (Gentoo with haskell overlay). Hence, I prepared both patches

Hi there, I only skimmed over the patch, but I already have some comments:

  • Some things that you added to .gitignore better fit into a global .gitignore on your system
  • Overall, I'd prefer to implement new Backends as standalone executables through the Haddock API. This may not yet work, but this is a great opportunity to improve the API so that such things become feasible.
  • If we want to add this to Haddock it would need 100% test coverage and documentation.
