Description

For maximal portability, provide a configure flag (off by default) that removes the (POSIX) dependency on ncurses by only using the dumb terminal.

Really, I don't expect any systems to not have a useable version of ncurses, but it could conceivably be a nice fallback to work around linking problems, for example.
