Cannot install platform (2009.2.0.2) on Ubuntu 9.04 with GHC 6.10.4 after successful make

GHC: 6.10.4
Platform: 2009.2.0.2

I can successfully run configure and make, but I get the following error when running make install:

This is out of date, and newer HPs install on Ubunutu.
