I installed 2010.1.0.0 over the top of 2009.2.0.2. The 2009 installer had added the 2009.2.0.2 paths to the system path, but the 2010 installer did not update the path entries to point to the 2010 paths.

2010.1.0.0 *prepends* to PATH instead of appending. What do you get if you run ghc --version from the cmd prompt?
