Intall fail on OSX 10.7.2/Xcode 4.2

Description

After updating my OSX to 10.7.2, and my Xcode to 4.2, I tried to install the Haskell platform on my computer, using the most current release. When I try to install either the 32-bit or 64-bit versions, I get an error that says that the installer failed, because it could not find software to install...

Can the original poster recheck with the new HP 2011.4.0.0 -- should work.

I am also unable to install 2011.4.0.0 on Lion with XCode 4.3. Seems XCode downloaded from appstore is now an app, thus no longer located in /Developer/.

As fo 2012.2.0.0, the HP installer for Mac will look for the build tools soley in /usr/bin. Different versions of Xcode have different ways of choosing the option that installs them there. Details are on the Mac download page (or will be when 2012.2.0.0 goes live in the next 24 hours.)
