[10.8] Haskell Platform installer should be signed with a developer ID

Reported by: cbarrett Owned by: MtnViewMark
Priority: major Milestone: 2012.4.0.0
Component: OSX installer Keywords:

Given that the default Gatekeeper ( setting for 10.8 is to only allow Mac App Store and Developer ID signed applications / packages, the Haskell Platform installer is a lot less user-friendly.

When double-clicking, users are presented with the dialog in the attached screenshot. Clicking "OK" does NOT launch the package. (By right-clicking and selecting "Open", users are presented with a slightly different dialog that allows the user to open the package anyway.)

More info here about how to get a Developer ID:

This is reasonably urgent as Mountain Lion's release is imminent (within the next couple of weeks, probably).
