We have said that major releases will be on a 6 month schedule. Major releases may include new and updated packages, while minor releases will contain bug fixes and fixes for packaging problems.
Second major release: 2010.2.0.0
Based on bug reports and polishing from the 2010.1.0.0 release (March 2010), we plan for 2010.2.0.0 in early April.
GHC 6.12.2 release with improved Cabal on Windows: DD/04 Release held up due to blocking bugs in 6.12.2. Waiting for 6.12.3
- Freeze for 2010.2.0.0: one week after 6.12.3 is out. June 1.
- Release candidates for 2010.2.0.0: June 7
- Release of 2010.2.0.0: June 14.
2010.2.x will include GHC 6.12:
