The current HEAD fails to build with:

$ ./configure && make

Everything needed was a simple change from

{-# LANGUAGE PatternGuards, CPP #-}


{-# LANGUAGE PatternGuards, CPP, ForeignFunctionInterface #-}

in the utils/ghc-pkg/Main.hs

The new Hadrian build system has been merged. Relabeling the tickets concerning the legacy make build system to prevent confusion.
